Can you dock at Mount Vernon?
All private vessels are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. Boats are only allowed to dock on the up-river side of the Wharf. Approaching vessels should navigate to starboard, leaving Wharf Pavilion to Port.
Can you go to Mount Vernon for free?
No. Admission is required for entry onto the grounds. The Mount Vernon Inn restaurant, The Shops at Mount Vernon and the food court are open to the public without a ticket.

Most of our visitors spend 3 – 4 hours at Mount Vernon and do not see everything we have to offer. The tour of the Mansion itself is about 20 minutes.
